Let's hope that Lagat doesn't make it, he will be old as f***. I hope Fernandez does the 5000 as well, better event for him if he is healthy. Abdi? He's a cool guy but when was his last good marathon?

Please explain why no Teg.
800m- Symmonds Wheating Andrews
1500m- Manzano Lomong Fernandez
5000m- Lagat Tegencamp Jager
10000m- Rupp Solinsky Chelenga (if rumors are true)
3000m SC - Fam Huling Heath
Marathon Ritz Hall Meb
I could be wrong. Question if someone doubles and qualifys twice they can forfit their place to the 4th place guy, right?
800 - Symmonds, Wheating, Andrews
1500 - Lomong, Manzano, Wheating
5K - Lagat, Solinski, Tegenkamp
10K - Rupp, Fernandez, Derrick
Marathon - Ritz, Hall, Meb
Symmonds will still have it in 2012, he's not that old yet, look for Robbie Andrews to develop nicely, we know he's got the speed. Look for Jacob Hernandez to make a run at this as well.
The Wheating double is questionable whether he even attempts it. If he doesn't I think look for Ulrey, Heath, David Torrence, or maybe Mac Fleet...?
Lagat is old but he's still Bernard Lagat. Solinski and Teg are strong and consistent, I'd love to see Jager get in but I can't see him beating them. Also, if German does the 5 he has a solid shot.
Went young in the 10k pretty much by default, don't think Teg or Solinski will go after the 10k, and don't see anyone beating those three. If Ritz does 10k, though, he goes instead of Derrick.
Unless someone springs onto the scene in a big way in the next couple years, that marathon lineup looks pretty set...barring injury. Maybe Mo Trafeh continues his upward swing and surprises people.
I'd have done steeple but I really don't know sh*t about that event.
10,000m: Rupp, Solinsky, Ritz
5,000m: Lagat, Derrick, Fernandez
1,500m: Lomong, Manzano, Wheating

Lagat is our fastest distance distance runner and still will be then...Didn't he just destroy the WORLD field at 3k??? Or do you not want him because he is black?
800 Andrews, Lomong, Symmonds
1500 Wheating, Manzano, ... Webb
5000 Solinsky, Lagat, Teg
10 000 Moran, Nelson, Rupp
Marathon Hall, Ritz, Meb. Gonna be a crazy race

Chaloooooooooonga*
800: Symmonds, R.Brown, Greer
1500: Wheating, Webb, Manzano
5000: Tegenkamp, Jager, Fernandez
10000: Rupp, Solinsky, Derrick
marathon: Ritzenhein, Hall, Rohatinsky
notes: Webb makes the team, Solinsky runs the 10k, Lagat is injured, Meb is injured, Wheating moves up to the 1500, keep eyes out for Josh McDougal, Ryan Sheridan, Goucher in the marathon, and maybe Fam in the 10k?
Last I heard, Josh McDougal has incurable sciatica. He cannot train consistently.
