To me Ritz's 5K was #1. It was a real race, not a time trial affair and he mixed it up and chewed up the best in the world and closed down hard on Bekele.

I would have been much more excited to see Chris or Galen or Ritz run a 26:59 in a race scenario eating up guys who have run 26:50 and closing on a guy who has run 26:17.

Ritz 12:56 was very unexpected

Webb 3:46.9 was not unexpected but was still exciting

I gotta go with Hall winning the OT Marathon. Never seen someone look that good at the end of a marathon. I'm not saying it was the best performance, but definitely the most exciting for me.

yeah, i wasn't aware of this site existing back when webb ran 353, but that was definetely tops. everybody was thinking olympic gold medal back then.
