It's funny but sad for Rupp...I mean first Lagat in the 5k and Solinsky in the 10k. We run the race to see who is the best and when runners don't dodge each other the best doesn't always win. However, I believe Solinsky may have just proved he is the best!!!
Poor,poor Rupp lost one record and didn't get the other...I will buy his first beer tonight!!
Well, I think Rupp is pretty satisfied tonight. Barring the weird thread that the track was measured short. He did break the AR that was on the books before Solinsky crossed the line. And he did it front running a little more than expected to. Really the pace makers fell a little short of expectations. They started out slow and I think fell off a lap short of what they set out for according to the commentary.
Rupp is not having any amazing out of the blue performances. But he just continues to get steadily better and better.
