Will tonight's performance be eclipsed this summer or is Solinsky's time going to stand for a while?

I'd bet a lot of money that the record will stand the rest of the season. Ritz is going for a fall marathon and doesn't seem to be healthy now. Rupp will probably only have one more 10K and it's hard for everything to fall in place (weather, pacing, etc.) as it did for Solinsky tonight.
It's not going anywhere this year. The only serious 10000m in Europe this year is later this month in Ostrava.
A more realistic question that could have a different answer than tonight's record might be "what will the 5000m record be by the end of the summer." Based on his 7:36 3000 PR, Solinsky has got some wheels. Based on this caucasian-shattering sub-27 10000m, Solinsky obviously has the endurance. What happens to that 5k record this summer in fast paced races?
I bet it stands too, tonight was just about perfect for Solinski. He had guys in front of him running a steady pace almost the whole way and the weather was just about perfect for a long track race, nice and cool but not cold, and no wind.
26:59
Yes.
The fastest American 10k performances always seem to come in this very early season Stanford race
I guess I'll play the contrarian Bob, and say someone takes it below 26:59.

Yes, good point. So, any guesses on the 5k record at the end of the summer.
12:49
Eddy Lee moves up to the 5k and runs 11:59 on debut.
