lead the race?
This guy is a "triathlon star"? He must be one hell of a cyclist and swimmer then because he's no star runner. He ended up running 3:10.
Even his first 5k was only 21:45 so his "look at me!" moment here only lasted very briefly.
15:32 5k and 1:12 half.
What? Photoshop yourself onto the leader board?
I see. So he didn't come to Boston to race, just to say LOOK AT MEE!!!! for a mile.
I take it back. He is a good runner. Just kind of an idiot.
ah, try-athletes and their egos...

His marathon PR is 2:33 (Memphis '09), which is nothing blazing, but very respectable. He ran up front for 1.5 miles for some TV time then finished the race with his girlfriend around 3:10. I must say, his girlfriend is very easy on the eyes.
Although I've only met him a few times (local running store employee)...I must say, he's a pretty nice guy. Triathlon star? I don't know about that. I know he is "pro" and has a few sponsors, but not in the "star" realm.
Huge Korn Fan?
Uniform Used To Fit (I Swear)?
Bearded Elvis?
I could do this all day. Looking through these pictures reminds me of how awesome runners are.
Congrats to all finishers.

A teammate of mine ran similarly even splits. A 4 second positive split!
Take a look at what German Silva put up (top 100 finish). I think his front half and back half were identical. 2:30 finish.
