stories like this scare the heck out of me. i whip it out almost daily to urinate while running.

I wonder where they draw the line. What if you peed in your pants and it went through the pants onto public property?

What if you started to pee in your pants then got it out to finish the job.

This seems pretty ridiculous and things like this need to be amended. What are you supposed to do if you are out on a run with nowhere to go the bathroom? I do this countless time and it is really up the discretion of the officer who saw it...which really means are they runners and could they understand? Or are they having a bad day and want to behave completely irrationally. Glad you only got the misdemeanor as well.

I run at our local high school frequently. Sometimes I will swing by there on my way home from work to get a run in and end up changing clothes in the car. I've always thought that if I ever got caught it could be turned into some kind of pedophile case. Trust me when I say I am extra careful. The parking lot is pretty empty when I stop and I always find an isolated corner, as far away from the school as possible.

A couple of guys on the track team at my college had to pee right before their race last year. The went to the center of the infield, got down on one knee, and peed. Since they were on one knee and had their heads down, everyone thought they were praying.

You should have seen all the runners publicly urinating minutes before the corrals closed at the start of the Chicago Marathon. It was absolutely shameful!......just kidding.

The cop is one sick bastard. He's sorry you weren't charged with something more serious? What the heck does he want? And why?

I wish I had the power to write tickets when I stumbled across a woman taking a #2, in the middle of the day, three feet off the trail and in plain sight. That was gross.

But, if I got charged every time I took a leak on the side of a trail during a run, I would be serving about twenty consecutive life sentences. You got a raw deal my friend. That cop sounds like a psychopath.

Did you get a pretrial division type of program? Or did you just plead to the misdemeanor charge?

I pretend I am stretching and pee that way. Never been caught. I would have fought it. You could have provided witnesses of runners and a physiologist. They would have dropped it totally. I do imagine that real perverts probaly make up stories like yours...that is why you got burned.
