I've been building my mileage up toward Phili in November. Yesterday my back was a little tight, particularly after sitting for a while and then getting up to do something. After 15 yesterday, it was even worse this morning. It doesn't really bother me if I'm up and about, or running for that matter, but if I sit for a while, and then get up.... ouch!
The pain is in my lower back, just to the right of my spine. I think it's a muscle. Interestingly my right hamstring has been tight (particularly on the inside above my knee), and I just noticed that after stretching my hamstring my back pain seems to be reduced. Is there any relationship between the two?
