yeah, it is getting worse, but I hope to get a PR this September in Berlin, who knows, maybe even sub 3 :-)

Holy crap, for a second there I thought I was reading my own post. I ran 3:43 in Sept 09 after only a few months since taking up running and 3:06 this past May. However, I'm much younger than you.
