For the 8 weeks prior to my 2 week taper I averaged 80mpw and was going some of the best long runs/workouts of my life. Last week I cut it to 65 and felt like garbage all week and had 1 sub par workout and one workout which was so bad I cut it short. I took yesterday off and today I started off feeling good, but then felt progressively worse throughout the run. I did form and strides after and felt winded.
Tomorrow I am thinking 8x400m @ 10k with 100m rec. for my last workout. Thursday same as today (see above) Friday 50:00. I will take off again Saturday due to travel to Boston, Sunday 30:00 easy and then the race Monday.
Advice on why I feel like I feel? Is it normal? It's funny every time I peak I forget how I felt in the past!
