Wow! I predicted 13:22 after seeing his intensity on the warm-up and he ran 13:18. Unbelievable.

Ethiopians run a whole lot faster than that on the same stuff.
Daba 13:17.89
Rupp 13:18.12 New American and collegiate 5000 meter indoor record!
Congratulations Rupp!
Second fastest American collegian ever, combined indoors or out, apparently.

German would have won the race.
13:37, 27:3x and now this. Ineffectual as he is in demeanor, this kid is a record-setting juggernaut.
Hall, Dobson and Solinski ran faster AFTER the NCAA meet.

I thought Hall & Dobson did it at NCAA'S? Didn't Rono run faster for WSU?
they ran like 13:22 at NCAA's then ran their 13:15 and 13:16 at USA's. Quite a summer of running for them.
To keep things interesting, for a well trained distance runner a 3:56.50 mile is the equivalent of a 13:07.4 for 5000 meters.
I don't think so. When Rono ran around that time for the wr the wr for the mile was way way faster than 3.56
blah blah blah.
You guys are worse than some bulls DND players. Go get a life, and a real job.
