Nope. Japanese flats refers to the average Japanese girl. Flat boobs, flat butt, flat face.

That's actually a pretty good line.
You're about a week too late. I was in Japan exactly one week ago, and I won't be going back to Japan until November 1st.
Jason
any suggestions or links? i seem to be having a bit of trouble finding them. i'm looking for the plain white asics with the red or yellow stripes like wakiihuru wore in seoul. thanks in advance.
Japan Sortie
what is japan sortie?
google, grasshopper
asics marathon sortie japan
The "sortie" is a model of Asics race shoes that you can only get in Japan.
I will have to find photos, but I believe that Mr. Wakiihuri had a special shoe called the "Asics Wakiihuri." I owned about 4 pairs in the 1990's, with the last pair dying about 2000. GREAT SHOE.
Or in or via Europe
Not that you need the money, but I'm a little surprised you haven't set up a little export-import business on the web to sell Asics, Mizuno, Nike, Adidas shoes available on the Japanese market to US consumers. You could hire a small staff (web person, order processor(s), s&r person; maybe all the same person!), get accounts with the shoe makers, float the capital and lord over a legacy of bringing quality shoes to the people of your homeland.
I have a pair of size 12 Wakiihuri Racers, never run in.
They are beautiful, and a good example to current shoe designers how to do things.
If you can wait until November, I can take care of this.
strong work, guys. those are them! (the sorties)
Are those them Asic flats made with rice in the sole? I beleive Ryan Hall tested a pair of them recently.
