I swear on my life I am not a troll.
I just want to know what the joke is. I read letrun every day but apparently missed the inside joke about this.
I know I'm inviting troll monitors and also wise-guy answers, but I thought I'd try.
Thanks.

I've only been on these boards a couple monthes and I've been wondering what the joke is too.
Just what it says: "Teg doesn't run the 10K"
That's all you need to know.

The original thread was not hilarious. None of the versions of the "joke" in any of its iterations has been funny. You haven't missed anything.
Let me guess. Your next question is going to be why Jason Rexing isn't in trials. After all he is Superman.

Now Rexing... now that was funny!

No, it wasn´t.
It was too funny. It can still be funny sometimes now, but it's trouble is that is can be used a bit too obviously at times.
Every six months or so on Letsrun there is a tradition of beating a dead horse. Sometimes it's funny, usually it's not.
I put the Teg thread in the latter category, but evidently lots of people think its funny to say that he doesn't run the 10K over and over.
Picture the biggest loser geek nerd at your school who repeats old jokes hoping to get the same laugh as the cool kid who told it the first time. That is the dork who thinks "Teg doesn't run 10k" jokes are funny.
Mildly amusing the first time, but not truly clever. Never funny since.
Long live geek loser nerds!
