she is drivng me nuts too...gosh, you would think the UK would have some better announcers.
13.37 for wilson for the win in 110 highs.
Just bad announcing...
Carol Lewis
"sometimes you get some great weather in london, then sometimes you get some crappy weather."
no class, no class at all.
the other guy was even laughing at her.he said..."lol smooth!!"
22.54 200 meter...campbell for the win
sorry but i gotta run away from the office for like an hour so i wont be back until the 2 mile...i will be giving lap for lap updates for that. can someone take over?
Just turn off the sound. Pretend you are in the stands. Don't spoil it for yourself.
lol yeah good point.
Why couldn't they get that quiet British fellow who did such a good job for those other meets? I really liked him. Very knowledgable. He had a deadpan sense of humor. In Belgium, a Belgian female high jumper had "Start Me Up" play on every single jump. Led the commentator to remark, "I wonder if she and outrageous Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards would have much to say to one another. Perhaps a match made in Heaven? Who knows."
Hilarious.
Carroll Lewis on the other hand is awful, and the other commentator seems to know little about track. I didn't pay to hear Lewis.
Also with the American commentators you realize how dull track can be. Every sprint race is framed as "here are the Americans, and here's the guy that will probably win." It's just not very exciting.

Can't tell just yet if this feed is live, but it's definitely working (sound only, though). Works fer me. Thanks!
and why the guy keeps saying:
'and he/she just won a GOLD MEDAL' - what is his issue with medals during Grand Prix meets?!
Is wcsn better in IE than Firefox? I've got a fast connection, but my video here is pretty bad.
Fleshman runs 8:43 for the win!
