Will this weekens's Sun Run in Tucson be getting any TV coverage? Maybe FSNAZ? I think this would be the perfect race to cover because the 5 and 10 start together and so you can watch the 5ers finish while the 10 guys are out near about half-way. Obviously, we runner would love to sit there and watch a 10k uninterrupted for half an hour -- but with all the talk about making running more appealing to tv viewers, I think the Sun Run is a perfect race to have on the tube.

Not only that, but runners don't have decide which race they're running until the 2k mark, then they split off and the 5k runners head for home. Exciting stuff!

Saturday sign up and packet pick-up is at the Running Shop on Campbell south of Ft. Lowell from 10-4. Race day registration just north of Hi Corbett stadium starts on Sunday at 7:00 and will close at 8:30.

Do you provide airfare for ex-local runners looking to run 19:30? What about a hotel? This high-altitude training has helped me tremendously!
