you can buy epo online from mexico or something but i sure as hell wouldn't trust that.

Frighteningly enough, on another thread someone posted an online, no prescription needed website where they offer every medication from Claritin to EPO (pre-filled syringes for 30 + bucks). I had NO idea that runners had such access without seeing a doctor or breaking their bank account. Maybe Wetmore is right about the stuff creeping into the US collegiate system.

Why are they looking for EPO? Just because they are asking about it doesn't mean they want it. How do you know they are not doing a report on it. That is ridiculous to accuse them of that.

haha, i wouldnt trust any online place that sold EPO. It has to be shipped cold and thus has to be close. I traced the link that was posted, they claimed it would come from Brazil. Well EPO couldnt ship from there to USA without getting warm. Additionally the site had a complicated pay method. Essentially if you bought the stuff and it never arrived (my guess) you still couldnt get the credit card company to get back your money because of their middle man setup. Like an electronic western union they scam you and run.

Buy EPO? Mexico, I guess from what other Letsrun.com people have said a lot of texas guys go over the mexico and can "easily" buy it. But from what i heard you have to have a perscription for that in Mexico, which means going to doctors and such. I think it sounds complicated and a mess and then even after getting it a person has to declare it (or not) when they go through the border. too complicated for most. If they were desperate for EPO they should go to a doctor, give them fake blood results and tell them they need it.

Cost - i could of sworn someone posted a link on some online drug store that said something very cheap. Anyways it's as someone else said about $300 for a 3 month supply, which i would argue depends on the dose. As most need 2,000 UI to 6,000 UI depending on weight and response. More, costs more of course. It can start running a lot, taking blood test bi-weekly and even daily i guess can start adding it up.

Injection- under skin and into vein. The vein though needs something with a fancy medical term for a slow injection of the formula into the body. so into vein go for 2-3minutes slowly, inject too fast it feels like a rush and you feel dizzy, sick and maybe later you pass out (oops!)

All and all you have a small handfull of athletes for EPO, football guys are not going to Mexico for EPO so its a small group of capable athletes. Sneaking in...., the doors unlocked. EPO does sound better than most steriods and such. Steriods = Cancer, complicated cycles and diminished returns (stop taking- lost all gains), natural production screwed up. Stimulants - sure positive, only on race day. CortoSteriods - only race day = positive. EPO, anytime anywhere = clean, only have to worry about taking too much. Charlie Francis pointed out from a "defector" from a sprint camp that even sprinters take EPO. Well according to one study the mice on EPO developed muscle like a god. Then again horses develop a uncontrollable blood infection and die. So human recombinant genes arent for everyone. Some people and EPO dont mix too, whatever the dose some poeple are to stop taking immediately if little red flags appear on certain blood test numbers - forgot what it was called.

Then again if EPO is brought up, what about blood doping. You know, taking blood out a long time before and injecting it back into the system. Cant test for that. If a person is capable enough of EPO use, what about those who are possibly considering blood doping.

if they take too much they die but regular prescription says 10-12 increase in RBC count. most people are already 42-50. so for a sick person at 32 its best to be in that range of 42-50. An endurance athlete can get the blood beyond that average of 42-50 up to about 60 before death. Some italian cycler who won a race got tested and showed a value of 60 RBC. very questionable. Tour de france has some established numbers like 52 (50? is it?) max or something. An epo user would want to go beyond the average to around 56-58, train harder and longer, 58 is too risky, 58 cannot handle dehydration, 56 can handle a small dehydration but anymore and bad bad, so drink all the water you can and get your electrolytes and potassium. Very very few people have natural rates much higher than 50 (if they did they would dominant endurance events, and not live very long), so its not impossible. A cross country skier a long time ago before epo had a value of 60 or so, him and all his family. he also lived to about 60.

The thing about EPO use is that its response is directly related to iron consumption. More EPO.. new blood, blood is mostly iron, so thus taking a lot of iron is essential for any response with EPO. patients not on iron have very weak responses to EPO. It does take several weeks to have the biological response to make blood so persons shouldnt expect instant success with EPO.

the average RBC, hemoglobin, hemocrict counts at the olympics have steady increased over the years to the point that it seems as if everyone has the highest possible blood count.

as someone once pointed to the postal team in the Tour De France -- One of the bikers had a count a month before at 4X but when the race started he was exactly at the legal limit. something biologically impossible. makes you wonder.....

Besides Epoietin alfa, there is a beta and Darbepoetin alfa - Aranesp (10µg, 15µg, 20µg, 30µg, 40µg, 50µg, 60µg, 80µg, 100µg, 150µg, 300µg)

The bad thing about EPO is EPO itself. When your body is injected there are antibodies produced, and even injecting EPO doesnt escape antibodies. Like infectin your body, the body cleans itself and breaks them down. So on EPO your white blood cell count will be high, is that bad, well i dont know.... ask a doctor, they would tell you something must be wrong with you.... thus most likely a bad thing

hi ehhhh I doing research on EPO and will be self administering EPO and training all in the name of science. All money and fame gained will be to get empirical data for the next generation of EPO cheater so they don't dose themself to death.

epo can range anywhere from $5 a vial to about $50 a vial. Depends if you have to go through the middle man. I do not. Direct from the source.

a 10% hematacrit boost provides a HUGE difference. trust me. My 5k/10k times got ridiculously better.

epo is not shipped cold, it is shipped in powder form and then reconstituted with sterile water.

OP you need to cover the IAAF's role in never testing athletes positive. IAAF officials were demanding blackmail to never test positive dopers. No reason to doubt they would have stopped.

Anybody can basically order any chemical they want on the Dark Web. Without prescription.
