Wow, the response of Mo Farah is great. I hope he will change his twitter hashtag to "One Mo Injection".

Albuterol "Alberto" Salazar and Mr. Galen "Drugged to the gills @ age 16" Rupp will hope fully have better proof.

What should that evidence look like?

I mean, from my understanding it is impossible to proof something, that did not happen. ???!!!!!

People have forgotten that one of the allegations made in the German documentary about Russian doping is that a very prominent UK track star had given a suspicious result that was somehow swept under the carpet. The media know who that is, but were unable to do much about it because of the ridiculous libel laws we have.

My own feeling is that the Daily Mail knows that Farah is that athlete and that bit by bit, they are getting to the point where they will confront him with this. Watch this space...

Top athletes take about 25 drug-tests per year (look at the Galen Rupp Number form 2014).

Mo has been a top athlete for 4 years (4 * 25 = 100) and second-rank athlete for another 4 years (4 * 10 = 40). Total = 140 !!!!

I guess he has not taken or maybe just more than 200 drug test during his life. Anyway he claims that the has taken "hundreds of drugs tests", which would suggest a number much greater than 200.

You're forgetting about the extra Nike tests that he has also passed.

Also, testosterone & EPO aren't performance enhancing if you're only taking them to bring back your body to normal levels.

It seems that he truly is a superior athlete if he was able to get to the top with only micro-dosing and not asthma & thyroid meds as well.

Here's what I would say if I were a journalist who had knowledge whatsoever of Alberto Salazar, Mo Farah and the NOP before the airing of the BBC program earlier this month and the stories that have followed.--------

Let's pretend that Mo Farah was as blindsided by the initial BBC and Pro Publica stories as he said he was, even though the journalists behind those stories e-mailed Farah and his agent requesting their input about a month before the stories' release.

Farah is surely as aware as everyone else that Salazar claimed on June 9 that he would be providing this same name-clearing evidence within "a short time." It's now June 19, and the only public attempt Salazar has made to marshal evidence on his own behalf consisted of concocting a story about not being Mary Slaney's coach in 1996 when Slaney tested positive -- a story which is both demonstrably false and irrelevant to present-day concerns.

If Salazar was able to convince Farah that he has done nothing wrong, then why hasn't he tried to convince the rest of the track and field world as well? Wouldn't Farah have to know the nature of this evidence to be convinced that it exists? If he does not, he's merely taking Salazar at his word, and if this is the case, there seems to have been little point in Farah's traveling all the way to Portland to demand answers, which was the supposed game plan last week.

None of this makes any sense at all in the context of people following rules. Anyone still on board with the idea that Pro Publica and the British press are perpetrating a two-pronged unjustified "witch hunt" can apparently conceive of benign explanations for Salazar's steadfast stonewalling and silence. I have never seen "just you wait and see" tactics put in play by people who can readily establish that their accusers are lying or wrong, and never expect to. Such tactics are, in my experience observing such matters in sports, the sole purview of people scrambling to create smokescreens, concoct unlikely excuses, or wait for a damaging storm to miraculously abate.

Salazar's job isn't convincing his athletes that Salazar himself is on the up and up. He convinces the athlete that that they are clean when the athlete isn't sure about a drug or "supplement" regimine.

In other words, Mo was probably just asking Sal "Okay, explain to me again how what we are doing is within the rules."

Classic defense.

Impossible? Maybe not. But it is considered difficult indeed.

Most of the time folks do not even attempt to proof anything (unless they happen to be bakers who tend to be exceptionally skilled at proofing).
