Osaka-bound Ohuruogu to Compete at Scottish National Champs This Weekend by: Scottish Athletics August 7, 2007

gold medallist Christine Ohuruogu has confirmed she'll race in the
Brodies Scottish National Championships this weekend at Scotstoun
Stadium, Glasgow.
The English athlete, who has a one-lap best of
50.28s, was this morning named in the Norwich Union Great Britain and
Northern Ireland team for the 11th IAAF World Championships in Osaka
later this month in the individual 400m and the 4 x 400m relay after
her suspension for missing three out-of-competition doping tests
expired on Monday.
Ohuruogu is entered in both the 200m and 400m
events at Scotstoun, with heats and finals to take place over Saturday
11th and Sunday 12th August.
Christine Ohuruogu said:

been named this morning in the Norwich Union Great Britain and Northern
Ireland team for Osaka, I'm delighted to have an opportunity to race at
the Brodies Scottish National Championships in a quality warm-up which
will aid my final preparations before flying out of Glasgow for Japan
