Wilson took down a 42-year-old record and won his heat with the second-fastest time of the day. He also broke Justin Robinson's world U18 record of 44.84.

Kipyegon crushed 10k WR holder Beatrice Chebet by 6 seconds while Moraa lost to Lilian Odira and Reynold Cheruiyot edged out Daniel Munguti and Timothy Cheruiyot.

Ingebrigtsen completed the 1500/5k double for the third straight Euros and set a meet record of 3:31.95.
