Former ESPN/NBC Sports Exec Rob Simmelkjaer Named New York Road Runners CEO
The 20-year sports executive had previous roles at both NBC and ESPN and has a law degree from Harvard. Let's hope that means he's committed to keep the NYC Marathon as an elite sporting event not just a fitness activity / charity run.
