London Is Back & Bigger Than Ever: London Marathon Plans on Hosting 50,000 Runners In-Person in October

A year after hosting an elite-only edition in St. James's Park, London is accelerating its plans to reach 50,000 entrants -- which would make it the second-largest marathon in the world behind New York City. We chatted with London race director Hugh Brasher today about his plans for his 2021 race. He also had some interesting things to say about Valencia and the LetsRun.com track talk podcast.

World Record Holder Eliud Kipchoge Will Return To Defend His Title At The 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon

This means that Kipchoge will race against the previously announced Mo Farah. The London event director Hugh Brasher says, "Everyone has been talking about another head-to-head between Mo and Eliud ...I cannot wait to see who comes out on top."
