January 14: Ten Past Champions Headline Super Deep Fields For 2018 Chevron Houston Marathon And Aramco Houston Half Marathon
In the women's half, Molly Huddle and Jordan Hasay take on US soil record holder Mary Wacera (66:29) and Edith Chelimo (65:52). Alex Korio Oloitiptit (58:51) leads a men's half field with Olympic silver medalist Feyisa Lelisa, Callum Hawkins, Stephen Sambu, Diego Estrada, Sam Chelanga, Luke Puskedra, and Bernard Lagat. In the men's marathon, defending champ Dominic Ondoro takes on Bazu Worku (2:05:25) while last year's women's half winner Veronicah Nyaruai Wanjiru makes her marathon debut against Mamitu Daska (2:21:59).

Men's Marathon: Eliud Kipchoge Cements His Status As The World's Greatest Marathoner As Galen Rupp Doubles Back From The 10K To Win Bronze
Eliud Kipchoge is the marathon GOAT as Feyisa Lilesa gets silver and Galen Rupp an impressive bronze for USA. Jared Ward ran a PB for 6th place as Meb Keflezighi struggled, but got to the line in 32nd.

Topping Bekele's competition are 2:04-men Lelisa Desisa (2:04:45), Berhanu Shiferaw (2:04:48) and Feyisa Lelisa (2:04:52). On the women's side, CR holder Aselefech Mergia (2:19:34) faces Lucy Kabuu (2:19:34) and a slew of other women who have ran 2:21.

Elite Fields Announced For 2014 RAK Half-Marathon On February 14th
The ridiculously deep fields include 11 men who have gone under 60-minutes and 7-women who have ran under 68:00. Men's side includes Bernard Koech (58:41), Stanley Biwott (58:56), Chicago Marathon champ Dennis Kimetto, former Half-Marathon World champ Wilson Kiprop and 2011 10,000m World champ Ibrahim Jelian. On the women's side there is London/NYC Marathon champ Priscah Jeptoo, Boston champ Rita Jeptoo and former 10K World champ Linet Masai making her half debut.
