Women’s 5000: 30 Years Later, Elly Henes Joins Her Mom as a NCAA Champion
In 1991, Laurie Henes won the NCAA 5,000m title for NC State in Eugene. Now the Wolfpack coach, Henes guided her daughter Elly to win the same race 30 years later.
