KBC Nacht Meeting: Ben True Gets IAAF Standard As Eric Jenkins Explodes To A 13:07 And Lauren Johnson Destroys Her PR To Make Worlds On A Night Full Of Fast American Running

True ran 13:06 to seal the deal for worlds with Jenkins right behind him in a huge PR. Abbey D’Agostino PRd at 5000 as did Johnson to punch her ticket to worlds in the 1500. Other big names in action included Dejen Gebremeskel, Chris Derrick, Emily Sisson, Mary Cain, PVer Sandi Morris andLolo Jones. Check out how they did.

Highlights: Iowa State's Edward Kemboi won the 800 in a US-leading 1:45.98 as Phoebe Wright won the women's race in 2:03.39. Virginia's Adam Visokay ran 7:57 to beat Craig Forys (7:59), Stephanie Garcia won over a competitive field in 9:11. 9 broke 14 in the 5000 as Wisconsin's Reed Connor won in 13:37.42 over Villanova's Patrick Tiernan (13:37.73) and Shadrack Kipchirchir (13:40.92), Duke's Juliet Bottorff won the women's 5000 in 15:49.80.

Results: 2014 Camel City Hilton Garden Invitational

Nick Symmonds ran 1:48.64 beating a field that included Brooks Beast TC teammates Marck Wiezorek (3rd) and Cas Loxsom (4th) as Heather Kampf ran 2:04.28 to beat Phoebe Wright by .01 and Maggie Vessey was 5th. Sarah Vaugn won the mile in 4:35.07.
