Stockholm Recap: Adam Kszczot Grabs Big Win in 800; Hiwot Ayalew Keeps On Winning in Women's Steeple

Kszczot followed up his victory at Europeans by taking down Nijel Amos in the 800 in a negative-split 1:45 while Emma Coburn was just third in the steeple in 9:20. Allyson Felix and Queen Harrison got wins in the sprints while Nesta Carter won the 100 in 9.96. In the field events, Reese Hoffa won to extend his lead in the DL standings while France's Renaud Lavillenie's 20-meet win streak is history after he failed to clear a height on a poor night for jumping. Plus a B-heat victory for Leo Manzano.

Alfred Kipketer Wins Men's 800 Impressively in 1:43; Barnabas Kipyego Captures 3,000 Steeple Title

Kenya's dominance in these events extended to the junior ranks as Kenyans went 1-2 in both races. American Tre'tez Kinnaird was sixth in the 800 while Bailey Roth was 10th in the steeple and re-broke his U.S. high school record that he set in Friday's prelims.

W 1,500/M 800: Alexa Efraimson & Elise Cranny Both Move on to Final; American Tre'tez Kinnaird Advances in 800, Bailey Roth Breaks US HS Record in Boys Steeple

The prelims of the men's 3,000 steeplechase were also held today and Arizona signee Bailey Roth set a U.S. high school record of 8:48.60 to advance to the final (Roth also holds the record in the 2,000 steeplechase at 5:41.67).
