I was disappointed when the Vibram Bikila became hard to find. Other models were too bulky or badly manufactured, but the V-Run is a good successor for outdoor minimalist running, with just enough shape to help with any arch issues. The sole is solid, without being too much thick. The upper is pretty well-made, with only a few stitching problems. The sole will last much longer than the upper. The shoes work both on roads and on trails, with pretty decent protection of the bottom of the foot. The shoes are pretty easy to get into, and they hold on well, even in difficult weather conditions.
