When I was running in this shoe, I was doing about 60 miles per week. About 40-50 of them in the Rides. They feel good. Soft enough but not like you're sinking. No hot spots, and no protruding sections in the midfoot. Durability is just okay, pushing past 400 miles was a little challenging.
The foam does somewhat soften up but its still way too stiff and not good at all. Shoe is comfortable for walking but very bricky for running.
Well cushioned but still lightweight enough to feel fast if you pick up the pace. Very comfy. I have used this for easy runs for two pairs (500 miles before needing a new pair)
The shoe is a great trainer and you can find it on sale now.
I’m enjoying the workouts in the Ride 15. Cushioned, but could use a little more. I’m Able to pick up the pace and work in the threshold level for my distance runs.
It has been several years since I last wore the Ride. Returning to the shoe has a good choice. Right out of the box I logged an 8 mile run in complete comfort. It was a warm day but my feet were cool and comfortable the whole run. They have a great level of cushion, plenty of room in the toe box, and my feet felt down into the shoe rather than sitting on top. I have a slight concern about durability of the sole. There are some strategically placed blown rubber with the predominantly foam outsole. Hope it hold up well as I prepare for a fall marathon. Overall I am very satisfied with the return and got a a great deal to boot.
Comfortable shoe with ample cushion for easy runs. Could be more durable but the tradeoff is worth it for the light weight.
Can do a bit of everything, good for long and easy runs, and is good enough to handle strides and even some faster stuff if you’re in a pinch.
