Very soft and durable shoe, also doesn't feel too bad at faster paces

Have close to 200 miles on this shoe and it is still as comfortable as it was out of the box.  Highly recommend.

At 1500K, I only use this pair for recovery days now, but it was more than up to the task for daily runs and long runs. Still a good amount of life in them yet.

As a runner with over 30 marathons I have alway used the Nimbus for training runs.  A shoe that I could depend on not to leave a blister and feel good.  With the recent change from the 24 and 25’s I can no longer recommend.  Asics has completely sold out.   Choosing mainstream over a tried and true product.  Now I’m forced to move on.

I am 6'2" 190lbs and the Nimbus is the shoe I rely on when I'm running big miles.

I decided to experiment with a neutral shoe. I normally run in stability shoes (Asics Kayano 27, Asics GT 2000 10, Asics GT 2000 9 trail), but for some reason, those models, unlike their predecessors, felt unsupportive like they had no "spring" to them. My easy pace kept getting slower and slower, plus I came down with a knee issue and painful calluses on the outside of my of right foot. When I tried the Nimbus 24, wow! I couldn't believe how night and day things felt. The "spring" came back and my easy pace returned to normal. Knees and feet felt better, even while running on concrete. Not sure why. I'm not blaming the shoes, but it does seem strange. I've been running in Asics stability shoes for over 25 years and never really had a problem!

This shoe has the most comfortable upper and tongue I've ever worn.  The cushion is so soft I almost feel like I bottom out the forefoot at 175 lbs.  Still, I would buy them again for easy runs.
