The Sound Running Track Fest heads to LA on Saturday night at Occidental College and Sifan Hassan, Matthew Centrowitz, Evan Jager, Nikki Hiltz, Luis Grijalva, Keira D’Amato and others are all competing (details below). The “A” sections are in a nice fan friendly window of 7:45-9:05pm pacific (10:45pm -12:05am eastern) with the 10,000s after that.

Highlights:

Sifan Hassan and Elise Cranny square off in the women’s 5000m.
Can Luis Grijalva get back on track in the men’s 5000m?
Evan Jager takes on Duncan Hamilton in the steeplechase and the debut of Emmanuel Bor

1500m stars tuning up in the 800m:

1500m stars Nikki Hiltz and Heather Maclean square off
Matthew Centrowitz and Craig Engels in the 800 (although Centro is in the “B” 800 at 6:10 pacific)
