In their last race, Teare edged Hocker in the mile, as they both came up just short of the American record. Lifetime, Teare is 4-0 vs Hocker at 1,5000m and the mile.

This year’s USATF Championships is presented by BD, a provider of rapid covid tests, and covid testing is a requirement for athletes to participate.
