The final night of the Texas Qualifier is tonight in Austin, Texas and it is full of races with track athletes trying to hit the automatic Olympic qualifying times in the 800, 1500, 5000 and 10,000. No sprints or field events in this one.
Justyn Knight, Josh Thompson, Johnny Gregorek, Erc Jenkins, Robby Andrews, Ryan Hill, Ajee Wilson, DeBues-Stafford, Sinclaire Johnson, Rachel Schneider, Elle Purrier, Emma Coburn, and Konstanze Klosterhalfen are all expected to race.
The biggest news on Day 1 was Craig Engels winning the 5,000m in 13:36. Former World Indoor Champ Boris Berian scratched in the B 800.
