For years, people have asked if they could get a copy of the original LETSRUN.COM yellow singlet that launched the website in 2000. And for good reason. In addition to its iconic and stylish look, the singlet has been part of many great track & field moments over the years.
In 2001, it was right next to Alan Webb when he first broke 4:00 as a high school senior (and subsequently appeared on the cover of Track & Field News). In 2002, it escorted Paula Radcliffe to a world record at the Chicago Marathon. In 2003, it covered 10,000 meters in a quick 28:06 and defeated five-time Olympian Abdi Abdirahman at USAs in the process. More recently, the shirt has battled Galen Rupp and taken the scalp of Canadian marathon record holder Cam Levins.
We have good news for you. In celebration of our 20th anniversary, we have released a singlet-inspired t-shirt. This is even better than a singlet as it’s much more versatile and comfortable. You can wear this baby to the race and the post-race party.
This singlet-inspired classic is a premium unisex tri-blend t-shirt, weighing just 3.8 oz per square yard. The SUPER soft, breathable shirt is made of 50% polyester, 25% cotton and 25% rayon.
We expect to ship the shirts on Dec. 17-18 so you should get them before XMAS if you live in the US but we can’t 100% guarantee it. International visitors will not get it beforeChristmas. We can send it as a gift without price information and are happy to send a note in the mail to anyone that you are giving it to as a Christmas gift. Just email us at [email protected].
There’s also a way to get this shirt for free. If you wear the shirt in a race with more than 20 people in it and win the race, we’ll send you your money back if you send us the photo.
