Donavan Brazier put on an exhibition in the men’s 800 today running 1:42.34 to break Johnny Gray’s 34-year-old American record.

What a run on the biggest stage.

Bryce Hoppel of the US finished 4th and Clayton Murphy last. This came a day after three American women made the 800 final and Raevyn Rogers got the silver and  Ajee Wilson the bronze.
