July 18, 2019
The 2019 Müller Anniversary Games will be held in London this Saturday and Sunday, July 20-21, the final meet before the Diamond League embarks on a month-long hiatus.
Television and streaming information for the meet is listed below.
How to watch
In the USA: This particular meet will not air live on television in the United States. The only way to watch it is to stream via NBC Sports Gold. According to the NBC Sports Gold website, the stream for track events on Saturday will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET, even though the first Diamond League track event begins at 8:35 a.m. ET. So it’s impossible to watch much of the meet in the US for free unless you have a way to change your VPN. On Sunday, the NBC Sports Gold stream begins at 9:00 a.m. ET, which is also when the first Diamond League track event begins.
In the UK: BBC1 has live coverage on both days, from 13:15-16:30 on Saturday and 13:20-16:00 on Sunday.
In Canada: A live stream for all 14 Diamond League meets can be found at CBCSports.ca and via the CBC Sports app for iOS and Android devices. TV coverage appears as part of the network’s Road To The Olympic Games weekend broadcasts. This week’s meets will be on from 9-11 am.
Diamond League in General
In USA: NBC once again has the rights to the Diamond League. You can watch the meets during the year on TV on either NBC Sports Network, the Olympic Channel, or NBC; if you don’t get those channels, you can stream every meet live by purchasing the NBC Sports Gold Track & Field Pass (you cannot stream the meets online without the pass). The pass is $74.99 for one year. In addition to getting every Diamond League meet, the USATF Outdoor Championships, major marathons, and select other meets (full schedule here), you can also stream full event replays.
