TV & Streaming Information for 2019 IAAF Athletissima Lausanne Diamond League Track And Field

The 2019 IAAF Diamond League returns to Europe on Friday, July 5, in Lausanne. Because of the Independence Day holiday in the United States, we won’t be writing our usual in-depth meet preview, so check out the IAAF website if you want to find out what’s going on.

Some of the top events include Clayton Murphy taking on Emmanuel Korir in the men’s 800, a loaded men’s 5,000 (Paul ChelimoJoshua CheptegeiSelemon BaregaTelahun BekeleYomif Kejelcha), Timothy Cheruiyot going for another victory in the men’s 1500, and Noah Lyles vs. Andre De Grasse in the men’s 200.

How to watch

This particular meet will air live in the United States on the Olympic Channel from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday. It will also be streamed live on NBC Sports Gold.

Diamond League in General

In USA: NBC once again has the rights to the Diamond League. You can watch the meets during the year on TV on either NBC Sports Network, the Olympic Channel, or NBC; if you don’t get those channels, you can stream every meet live by purchasing the NBC Sports Gold Track & Field Pass (you cannot stream the meets online without the pass). The pass is $74.99 for one year. In addition to getting every Diamond League meet, the USATF Outdoor Championships, major marathons, and select other meets (full schedule here), you can also stream full event replays.

In Canada: This meet can be streamed live through CBC Sports.

In the UK: Discover/Eurosport have the live rights. The BBC will produce a post-meet highlights package.
