A New Year is here as is a pledge by the LRC crew to do regular podcasts in 2019. We’ll see if we stick to it.
LetsRun.com got its 2019 podcasts off to a start with a bang in the episode below. First, we broke down Sunday’s stacked Aramco Houston Half Marathon and then took a look at Sally Kipyego’s 2020 Olympic team chances. Are they greater than say for Shalane Flanagan or Jordan Hasay?
Then the crew spent a half hour talking about the 2019 season as a whole. Will an American man break 2:10 in the marathon, will an American win gold in a distance event at Worlds, will Shalane Flanagan retire, will Jakob Ingebrigtsen medal in 1500 at Worlds, whose going to have the better comeback in 2019 – David Rudisha or Almaz Ayana? Should/could Edward Cheserek run world cross country? What event is LetsRun.com team most excited about in 2019?
Finall, we discussed the threads of the week and at tried a new feature, where we listened to audio from LetsRun.com listeners. It was quite entertaining as you all were quite clever as fake Mike Rossi, fake Ryan Hall and the real Texas Runner Girl spoke.
