LRC Nation Says Colorado Women, Northern Arizona Men are Strong #1s, Colorado Men Will Lose First Pac 12 Title Tomorrow

October 27, 2016

LetsRun.com nation has spoken and the Northern Arizona men and Colorado women are the new dominant #1 teams in the NCAA D1 Cross Country fan polls.

Two weeks ago in our polling, LRC Nation thought Northern Arizona was overrated and ranked defending national champion Syracuse #1 on the men’s side. Let’s hope LRC Nation does a better job when voting for president in two weeks as Northern Arizona went out and beat Syracuse convincingly at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invite and is the new #1 on the men’s side as Syracuse dropped to third in the LetsRun.com polls.

Washington took down previous #1 Providence on the women’s side in Wisconsin and that pushed the Huskies up to #2 in the women’s poll as Colorado which won the Pre NCAA meet is the new strong #1.

Conference Polls

This weekend is the big NCAA cross country conference action and the biggest question is will the Colorado men lose the Pac 12 meet for the first time? LRC Nation seems to think so as they have both Oregon and Stanford ahead of Colorado in the Pac 12 conference polls. Considering they are 3 of the top 6 teams in the country the Pac 12 meet should be fabulous.
