You can keep your home and be covid-19 free, it’s not an either or situation.

Actually, that is what l have been saying. I see this one dude living it up on Facebook and telling people shutdown things for a long time. These people make me seriously mad. Not a worry or care. Actually his only worry, according to his Facebook, is when will they start having races?
Running outside is fine as long as you are social distancing fellas.
I have no problem with it personally, but there shouldn't be a problem with a restaurant open for dinner in for 50 people eather. And the dude l was referring to is saying stay home, but is out running.

You got me. Then again your opinions are sanctimonious and superficial.
It beats unadulterated p!ss. You’re blaming the only the Dems with a Republican White House, Senate and majority of Governors.
Why? Are you obese or old? If neither, you will barely notice a few cold symptoms.

Maybe he knows someone who is older than 65 or has diabetes or asthma or heart disease or cancer or is pregnant or has liver disease or kidney disease or has an autoimmune disease or a BMI of 40 or higher.
It’s actual a lot of Americans.
I'm a Democrat and the party consistently shoots itself in the foot because its out of touch. A lot of these out of work people are the same Latinos that made California a safe Democratic state because of Trump's antics. But those same people benefited from the record low unemployment the past few years and now they face losing all of that and bankruptcy or credit card debt that will take years to pay. Who will they blame the Republican or the Democratic party? Latinos tend to be conservative anyway and are natural Republicans. What Reagan said is what the rest of the country said four years ago and California voters will be saying soon, "I didn't leave the Democratic party, the Democratic Party left me."
I am not pleased to read that advertising is not going well for you now. That said, the only way to break this virus is social distancing. People actually have very limited physical interaction in pubs and movie theaters. Churches and synagogues appear to be the worst. Hugging as many as fifty different people in church or synagogues appear to be the norm. Yes, I have been in both. How can we get churches and synagogues (mosques in Iran) to cooperate if coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and night clubs were allowed to re-open?

Once again this crisis happened with a REPUBLICAN President, a REPUBLICAN administration, a REPUBLICAN senate and mostly REPUBLICAN governors.
Your conclusion? Blame it all on the Democrats. A baffling conclusion. Of course neither side is immune from criticism but your argument makes no sense.
The stimulus bill was mostly driven by Republicans, so if it is inadequate hold them accountable also.
You vote whichever way you choose, but I’ll offer you a bet, that California will remain Democrat in November of this year. What do you say $1,000 bet on it?
You represent my statement.
Simple, the pastor, priest, Iman, or rabbi tells people not to hug or kiss. Religious people are more apt to listen to authority.
I'm not affected at all. In fact, my life has improved. I get to work from home so no commute. It was only a 3 mile commute, but still. I want to stay locked down because I'm looking to buy a home. So I want an economic collapse worse than any seen before. My job is safe from the economy. In fact, it gets more busy during a downturn due to clients needing more capital.
Yes, correct, just a few countries so far. Schools are opening in Denmark, Austria has allowed non-essential stores to open. Germany might be following. And or course Italy Spain France are still closed.

Have you heard some of the preachers before they died of corona-19? From their public statements, many preachers believe they are protected by their faith. Even though I have not heard specific cases tracked back to a pub, I am sure people have died after spending time in a pub. There is no way people of faith in U.S. will cooperate if coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and movie theaters are re-opened.
OP and people feeling bad /angry about this. Be sure that there are plenty of us who have it better and feel terrible for you and want you to be able to get back going ASAP. I am not young and I would risk illness or take responsibility for isolating myself, if thought it was needed, so you could be free to live. I think there are a lot of people like this and some even have government jobs and run.
Out of curiosity, do we actually have people here who aren't eligible for any of the stimulus check, unemployment, PPP, or another SBA alternative? I realize the rollouts of these programs have been terrible, but my understanding is that there really shouldn't be all that many out there who can't make it two months. In fact, most of the non-partisan stuff I've seen suggests there were far more people in the U.S. living below the poverty line prior to April 1 than there will be for the next few months. So I can't help but wonder if many of the calls for "reopening" are more partisan than not.
I'm also curious to know how much intrinsic value we think there is in a business that cannot do both of (1) shutter itself for 2 months without dying and (2) reposition itself reasonably quickly for success upon reopening.
The “shut it down” people are simply vile, morally disgusting people. They focus solely on the virus, as if eradicating every nanoparticle of it should be the sole concern of human life, and assume that they have the right to wipe out everyone’s lives to achieve their ends. Their attitude exemplifies the rotten morality of altruism.
I wish a check and a loan would fix it. This is more about the nuts and the bolts behind the scenes.
I’m not going to be out on the streets, but after 15 years of manufacturing and distribution this is a nightmare.
I have plenty of funds to survive personally and even the buisness but the system is on the verge of breaking.
Unfortunately I wish some money would solve all of my problems. I have inventory that without retail stores is pretty much useless. Stores are closed and I’m not sure all of them are coming back and will be solvent. I have a decent Accounts receivable that isn’t getting paid. We also have manufacturing partners in other countries where we are paying just to feed employees trying to do the right thing. There are so many layers to this debacle.
Conservatives stop worrying Trump says more help is coming him, trust him.

I wish flat earth types like you would have been open to logic and reason in January. Trump's economic advisor, Peter Navarro told Trump in December this virus was headed to U.S. When there were 15 deaths in January in U.S. and already hundreds of deaths in Italy, if U.S. would have shut down then, it would have been over in U.S. by now. I am sure you can find a post from me when we went from 15 deaths in U.S. to 100 corona-19 virus deaths that we had a dangerous pandemic spreading in U.S. Flat earthers like you are making this worse.
