I won't write it off just yet! To hedge my bets I will look for some half marathons around the same time. Definitely will be doing elliptical most days with some stretching and strengthening. I was so pissed off with myself last night as I realized I would have to take some time off, but I have accept thE idea now. The last time I was off for more than a couple days was over 4 years ago when I really blew out the ankle with major bruising/swelling, luckily it's not nearly that bad this time as that had me out of commission for over a month. Anyway, a week or two off will hopefully have me come back stronger! Also, am happy I have found out how to control portion size and lost a bunch of weight in the past month!
