I hear all the commentators speak about experience, but anyone that has run in high school and college has seen this happen numerous times. Its common to stand on the inside of the lane-(other team-Brazil) and the IN-EXPERIENCED (FELIX) runner will drift to the outside for the next exchange can go to their 3rd runner on the who is on the inside, and not pay attention and hit. On TV easy to see. At other track meets not so easy to convince the officials. I mean I have specifically told and re-told my athletes to watch the next lane and I have even spoke to the officials before and the other team to be careful of leaning/arming into our lane.
No way I am the only one on this board that has dealt with this.I mean its a COMMON occurrence will in-experienced runners and bad coaches.(Mitchell)
