Because NBC is all about the story, not the sport.
Also, every meet is just a part of NBC's main story, the olympics.
Conclusion: NBC does not care about track.

So, Coe is still alive and kicking. What about announcing the names of the many positive doping tests?

Charles Jock -1:48 last place. Unbelievable how he put it together to make the US team.
As I posted in the previous Jock thread from two weeks ago, this is entirely reminiscent of Christian Smith's amazing dive to nip KD for the 3rd spot in Beijing. Smith was a good runner and great guy, but you could tell he was going to be a non-factor at the Games.
I doubt Jock will run faster than 1:46 in Rio. He'll be lucky to get out of the first round, but I hope he does. He tore it up in 2011 and looked like a hot bet to go to London with Nick and Duane.
Maybe Jock tried biking all the way there and his legs are tired.
they have a BOLTDOWN clock on the BBC stream. 39 minutes to go.
Go Brianna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's soooo fine.
have the BBC changed their trackside interviewer?

Watching this meet on the BBC is so much more enjoyable. They have a round table. Very interesting. Why can't NBC do that?
