As a guy 25yo who literally got circumcised 8 days ago (see my thread

), I am hoping circumcision will be ok long term. I had my done due to medical reasons (phimosis) so it wasnt exactly a cosmetic choice (insurance covered it). I can tell you that so far, my glans is drying out and sensitivity is reducing a lot. The scar is obviously sensitive and the stitches are still in, so that will dissipate soon.
As for the sexual aspect of being circumcised, I can tell you that I did enjoy sex while uncut and the extra gliding the foreskin provided was great. The foreskin was definitely the most sensitive part so I'll see if I like sex more after being cut. Maybe I'll be able to last longer because the sensation wont be as great? We shall see. I'll report back as soon as I can be sexually active again which is hopefully in about 1.5-2 months.
There are honestly very few studys done on the sensations felt after circumcision vs before (regarding sex) since adult circumcision of adults who are sexually active is relatively rare (teens who had it done would technically be considered adult circumcision - but they may not have had sex yet, so can't compare).
It's hilarious how guys are saying sex is better because they can last longer because they have a loss of feeling. That's better?
