I have been suffering from ITB, and a stress fracture on top of the foot. Along with all sorts of stretching and possibly getting a mesh shoe with velcro straps, complete board sole to help heal the stress fracture I was analyzing my shoes.
I have high arches and a rigid foot and have worn Brooks Radius and Mizuno Rider 10. On both of these shoes I have noticed the left lateral (stress fracture and ITB side) to be worn along with the left medial forefoot. The right is just worn at center of forefoot.
I was thinking about the Adidas Adizero Tempo or the Brooks Burn. My theory behind this is that my lateral left shoe is kind of mashed down and I am hitting it so hard that the forefoot gets jarred into pronating at the forefoot. If I am fortunate enough to start running soon I was thinking that adizero tempo might guide this improper form better? Any adizero tempo users? Or Brooks Burn users out there with similar biomechanics?? Advice greatly appreciated!
