In his three 200m races in Tokyo Bryan Levell had splits of 10.17 (Heat), 10.12 (Semifinal) and 10.03 (Final) according to the Seiko timing. In previous championships the Seiko splits have not been very accurate though so hopefully more splits data will be released.
But if we for now go with the Seiko data Bryan Levell's 10.03 split would make him the second fastest curve runner of all time behind only Usain Bolt who in his four fastest 200m races had 100m splits of 9.92 (19.19), 9.97 (19.40), 9.98 (19.30) and 10.00 (19.32). Tyson Gay with his 10.05 split from the 19.68 performance in Stuttgart has held that spot as the second fastest curve runner of all time.
Whether Levell already is the second fastest curve runner of all time or not his curve running is definitely very impressive considering that he was in the lead after 100m against great curve runners like Kenny Bednarek, Noah Lyles and Letsile Tebogo. On the other hand his speed endurance during the second half of the race seems to need some work.
