I have been self-coached since November '05 and my training program is very similar to the Daniels Method. From November to April, my training looked like this (base-6 weeks , early qualtiy (tempos and short speed workout with lots of recovery) - 6 weeks , Vo2 Max Intervals - 6 weeks, Sharpening(short speed with less recovery). I incorporate hills in most of my runs. I did this cycle at 50miles a week from begining to almost the end (I dropped to 40 during peak). I am now doing the same cycle at 60 miles a weeks now. Of course now there will be more workout volume and what not. Is there anything I am missing, or you feel I should add? BTW, Tempo Runs are dispersed through the cycle after the Base phase until the end. Of course, my focus is 5000m. Thanks in Advance
