Dear english speaking folks on the message boards,
You all have a lot of opinions about the Gjert Ingebrigtsen trial and the details that have come out thus far. Norway has rules about what the press can and cannot publish. These guidelines are such that a media outlet can have it ability to be in the courtroom revoked if they violate the rules.
However, it can be challenging at times to determine what may be published, as a result any event which more than one person who will be testifying on should not be disclosed. In the case of any event where Jakob, for example, is not the only witness the press should not share any details of what is said in the courtroom. These rules are also why the norwegian press do not use the younger sister's name or image.
