Hi - I am a college runner and I have had constant and long term hip problems, mostly labral tears and femoral stress fractures so always overly concerned about that area. Hip has been really tight / painful lately but MRI just found labral tear. However, I recently had a workout where felt totally fine on the warm up but as soon as I started a stride it felt like my upper quad was tearing. ITs fine when running really slow but as soon as a I run fast I feel that same muscular tear. Taken a week off still not better. IS this just a quad strain? Bit confused becuase never had this type of pain.
