Today I had planned to be a time trial for my team, but this week has been brutal in terms of weather. Monday was the hottest day we've worked out on and we did 5x800, 3x400. I gave more rest than I would have had the weather been not as hot and humid. Tuesday and Wednesday my school district closed schools early and wouldn't allow after school activities. So while I know some of my kids ran on their own, Im sure most didn't. I'm tossing around cancelling the TT. Do I continue to do a time trial (we have our first race next Saturday and I know who will run the varsity race) or do I do a long run instead? Informed discussion only please.
