Was looking through races and it struck me how much DeGrasse (and his coaches) “fixed” his arms to be more efficient for the 200. It gained him very little over the 100, but this subtle change no doubt improved his resistance to speed decay and took him to that next level. This clean up is noticeable in the Tokyo 100 as well. I’m sure this took a lot of effort.
His lower body has always been top notch and I notice only subtle changes there (if it ain’t broke don’t fix it).
