No Nike in top 5 or so.
They were 5:02 through 2k so he cranked it down to 2:23 and change for the final k. Breathtaking run
2:23.8 for the last K. Wow.
Last kilometer in 2:23.88.

Yeah, a real fast last K off of an honest pace. I know he buried Krop there at the end, but I thought Krop looked impressive.
Top 8 all set personal bests!

3:30/3:47/7:25/12:40/26:30 look like realistic time targets for Yomif. Back to his top level.
Krop doing so well shows that this must be a pretty loaded Kenyan 5k squad. Much better than recent season. Champion Kimeli 7:31 PB today, but he might be a bit tired and responding to those mid-race 58s is no joke. Second placer ran 12:55. We'll have to see what the third placer can do.
Basic ready for the beach after the race. That was almost a bikini.

I got approximately 3:55 for Kejelcha in the last mile.
I am switching between Swedish and Norwegian broadcasts.
It is cool to see that how they can tailor-make the broadcast to each country.
Discus, long jump and pole vault for Sweden.
Running for Norway.

Where does Grovdal have to place to become a top six threat for Tokyo? Fifth in front of Gemechu or Fantu Worku?
Top 4 or 5, and well clear of McColgan and Yasemin Can. Would like to see her lop 20 seconds off her 14:51 track PB. She’s 31 - is she a bit suspicious?
71.23 first lap
2.55.50 first km

It was 3:53.59 for the final 1600 officially for the leader. However, Kejelcha was behind and came through in 3:33.0 on the clock and at 7:26.1 at the finish indicating a 3:53.1 type final 1600.
Kendricks hanging in with Duplantis. Both over at 19'4 3/4"
McColgan looks huge in that field.
