One version makes it possible to get a higher lactat (distance) while the other clears it faster (sprinter). I can imagine the "sprint" version is good for triathes, ultrarunners, biathletes and most tour cyclists because they reduce their activity during the competition, but why marathon runners? The distance version have been shown to be good for rowers and 5k runners. I imagine it is also good for tt cyclists
